Find the best baby birth time within your doctor-approved date and time range.
What is a Baby Birth Muhurat?
A Baby Birth Muhurat is an astrologically favourable window — a specific date and time span — chosen from within a medically safe delivery period. It draws on the same Vedic astrology used for a full birth chart: the Panchang (tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana), the ascendant (lagna), the Moon's placement, and key house/planet positions at the proposed moment.
How is the best time calculated?
This calculator scores every candidate moment inside your allowed date/time range against a documented set of Vedic factors — panchang quality, lagna strength, Moon placement and nakshatra, key house occupants, and Rahu Kaal/Yamaganda/Gulika/Abhijit timing — then narrows the highest-scoring moments into practical windows (not a false-precision single second), since a chart genuinely shifts across even a short span.
What information is required?
Free: your expected delivery date, the earliest and latest dates your doctor has approved, the delivery location, and (optionally) a specific approved time window. Personalized: additionally, both parents' date, time and place of birth, so the proposed baby chart can be read against each parent's own chart.
Free vs. Personalized Muhurat
The free calculator gives genuinely useful top-3 windows with a full breakdown of why each scored well. The personalized report goes further — reading the proposed chart against both parents' natal charts, with a detailed, chart-by-chart explanation of why the top window is preferred over the alternatives.
Medical disclaimer
This calculator provides an astrological/elective assessment based on Vedic astrology rules. It is not medical advice, and it never overrides your doctor's medically approved date or time range. Delivery timing must always be decided by the treating medical professional.
How is a good muhurat for a baby's birth chosen?
Every candidate moment inside your doctor-approved window is scored on the same Vedic factors used to read any chart — panchang quality, lagna strength, the Moon's placement and nakshatra, key house occupants, and the inauspicious spans of Rahu Kaal, Yamaganda and Gulika. The highest-scoring moments are grouped into practical windows rather than a single false-precision second.
