Lo Shu Grid Calculator

लो शू ग्रिड कैलकुलेटर

What does my Lo Shu grid look like, and what's missing?

The Lo Shu grid places the digits of your date of birth into a fixed 3x3 magic-square layout. Numbers that appear are your strengths; numbers missing from your birth date entirely are traditionally read as areas to build.

How the grid is built

Every digit from your DDMMYYYY date of birth is placed into one of nine fixed grid positions (1-9), based purely on that digit's value — the grid layout itself never changes, only which cells get filled. A digit appearing more than once in your birth date shows up that many times in its cell; a digit that never appears in your birth date leaves that cell empty.

Common questions

What does a missing number mean?
In this convention, a number absent from your birth date is read as a quality to consciously build rather than one that comes naturally — not a deficiency.
Can two people have the same Lo Shu grid?
Yes — anyone sharing the same digits in their date of birth (in any order) will produce the same grid, since the grid only counts digit frequency, not sequence.
Does this need my exact birth time?
No — only your date of birth.
